The prerequisite for CERS is to hold either a NAPS CPC or CTS credentials that is current and has been renewed in the last year with NAPS if earned after 1995. The first eighteen CERS credentials were awarded to seasoned veterans who recognized a need to become more closely aligned with their clients in a consultative role at the 2006 and 2007 NAPS National Conferences. There are now 60 CERS credentialed professionals that have been certified through the NAPS CERS training program. This advanced credential has allowed these 60 seasoned veterans to become more closely aligned with their clients in a consultative role that clearly displays their leadership as search and recruiting professionals.
Many of you have heard the following: "If our clients are meeting to determine staff upgrades, new hires, developing strategic growth plans and we are not invited to sit at the table, then we have not established a value add relationship!" There is clearly a screaming demand for our profession to become the guide in making our clients aware of the "Impending Crisis" that The Herman Group and Danny Cahill spoke about a number of years ago, is here. We must step up and help our clients become "Lean and Meaningful," become an "Employer of Choice," and finally, who better than our profession to guide our clients in "Keeping Good People."
We have heard the term "on-boarding" and once again, who better than us to assist in a smooth transition and mutual performance progress monitoring as we "find, deliver and retain" the talent our clients will need to hold and grow their market positions.
