DAWSONVILLE, GA (September 5, 2014) -  There's an app for just about everything nowadays, and NAPS, the National Association for Personnel Services, the nation's leading search and staffing industry educator, is excited to announce that their annual conference, taking place September 15 - 17 in Houston, Texas, has one too.

NAPS President, Trinette R. Cunningham announced, "The mobile app will bring the experience at our Annual Conference to a new level. Attendees will be able to see more, do more, and get more value out of the event - right from their mobile device."

"One of our goals for this year's conference was to create more interaction between attendees, exhibitors, sponsors and presenters," explained NAPS Conference Chair, Mark T. Carlson, Senior Vice President, The Suburban Group, Inc. "I'm confident that our conference mobile app will enhance the attendee experience while achieving our goal."

"As a regular speaker/trainer for the conference circuit, you could only imagine how many apps and new ideas I have seen try to be implemented. I simply urge all attendees to set up their accounts and access the great information. From sharing contacts, giving feedback, taking notes, networking , viewing the slides and more, this app just rocks. The interface is 2014 and I am extremely impressed!" said NAPS Conference Presenter, Neil Lebovits, CPA, CPC, CTS, Founder,

Specific Features of the NAPS Conference app include:

  • The full event schedule sorted by day, speaker, and/or track, and the ability to rate and evaluate the sessions directly on the app
  • Connect and exchange contact details with other attendees
  • Share event experiences on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
  • Follow the event on Twitter at #NAPS360
  • Find session and exhibitor locations with interactive maps of exhibit halls and session rooms
  • Download speaker presentations and the ability to send speakers follow-up questions
  • View details about all of the exhibitors and sponsors
  • Receive notifications about networking opportunities, the silent auction, and other breaking event news pushed directly to your device

To download and install the app, click from your device.

This app performs optimally whether or not there's an Internet connection. When connected, the app downloads updates (like a schedule or room change). Once downloaded, all of the data is stored locally on the device so it's accessible even if there's no Wi-Fi.
