NAPS announced the 2014 award winners at their annual conference in Houston, TX. Six awards were given during the award ceremony onWednesday, September 17, 2014.
TheNAPS Hall of Fame Awardwas given toJoe Hosmer,Founder of Mountain Ltd.Ann Bohl Deacon,Founder and CEO ofDeacon Recruiting, was awarded theNorbert I.B. Fried Ethics Award. Both awards are givento recognize those individuals who have made a significant, positive and lasting impact on the staffing industry.
The Shero and Hero Award, anaward given to people within the recruiting and staffing profession that raise the bar for others, was awarded toPatricia Casey Joyce, Owner of Arlington Resources. This award is designed to recognize those individuals for their innovative ideas, outstanding achievements and success.
Pat Turner, CEO and Publisher of Employment Marketplace, was awarded theAbove and Beyond AwardandJudy Collins, General Manager of TFI Resources, theSponsor Award.
In addition to these highly acclaimed awards,Bruce Putman,President & CEO at A-1 Careers, was nameNAPS District Director of the Year.
