NAPS Names Jamie Schwartz Chairman of the Board

DAWSONVILLE, GA. Jan. 5, 2015 — The National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS), the association with the longest and most comprehensive history of professional credentialing in the staffing industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jamie Schwartz as Chairman of the Board. Schwartz is a 20-year veteran in the staffing and placement industry. He currently is a partner and the president of Haley Stuart Group, a professional staffing and placement firm based in the greater New York City area. He also is a co-founder and board member of Mattson Resources, an Orange County, California–based staffing firm.

Prior to joining Haley Stuart, Schwartz served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of a national staffing firm with sales in excess of $350 million annually. He holds his BA in economics from the University of Rochester and an MBA from that university’s Simon Graduate School of Business. Schwartz holds his CPC, CTS and CERS credentials from NAPS. He has served as the New Jersey Staffing Alliance’s Vice President of Programming and Education and on the NAPS Board as its Credentialing and Conference Chairs.

“I am excited to serve as the Chairman of the NAPS Board of Directors,” said Schwartz. “Over the last few years, I have had the chance to work closely with my predecessors and appreciate all they have accomplished to ensure NAPS’ future success. I look forward to continue working closely with NAPS’ President Trinette Cunningham as well as with our officers and directors to further expand on the value NAPS offers its members.”

Schwartz lives in northern New Jersey with his wife and teenage children.

“We’re delighted to have Jamie Schwartz as our Chairman,” said Trinette Cunningham, NAPS President. “He brings exceptional insight to the organization, and together we’re excited about our united vision and continued growth.”
