Community College Enrollments Decline, but Completion Rates Rise

According to a new study by the American Association of Community Colleges, student enrollments across the nation are down (3.5% in year prior to last fall), but those enrolled are more likely complete their studies and earn the associate degree. The decline can be traced to older students who appear to be returning to a more “job friendly” workforce.
