Shrinking Middle Class is Changing Demographics

Bucking a demographic trend that has existed since the 1970's, the Pew Research Center is now reporting that the number of Americans holding “middle class” status is now less than a majority. Middle class is defined as a family of three earning $42,000 to $126,000 annually.
