House Passes $40B in Higher Ed and Workforce Investments

The Build Back Better Framework of the federal social spending legislation passed by the US House of Representatives last week contains billions of dollars in new investments in higher education and workforce development. The legislation is now in the hands of the US Senate where it is expected to undergo changes before final enactment.
