The National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS) is excited to announce a major evolution in its professional development offerings. The former "NAPS Lunch N Learn" webinar series has been rebranded and reimagined as "Power NAPS", embracing the innovative
concept of microlearning to better serve its members.
“Power NAPS" integrates the principles of microlearning, which addresses the Hermann Ebbinghaus forgetting curve,” said Trinette R. Cunningham, CPC, CTS, President of NAPS. “Research shows that when people are presented with large amounts
of information, retention tends to decline significantly over time—often as much as 80% within a month. By focusing on short, impactful learning sessions, we’re enhancing the way our members absorb and retain knowledge.”
Each Power NAPS webinar will deliver a maximum of 20 minutes of targeted education and insights, exclusively available to NAPS members.
Jamie Schwartz, NAPS Board President and CEO of Haley Stuart Group, added, “We are always assessing how to provide greater value to our members. This shift to microlearning represents a strategic enhancement not only to our webinar series
but also to the breakout sessions at our annual conference, Ignite 2025.”
Tom Erb, NAPS Content Chair and President of Tallann Resources further explained, "Microlearning is the perfect way to pack a punch without overwhelming your brain—a little goes a long way!
The NAPS Annual Conference, Ignite 2025, will be held June 8–10 at the trendy Planet Hollywood Resort in Las Vegas, featuring a dynamic lineup of educational opportunities and networking events.
