Patricia Casey, CPC, CTS - Owner
Since 1997, Arlington Resources has been serving our clients in the areas of strategic staffing and talent management. Previously, Patricia was the Executive Vice President of Casey Services, which Arlington Resources acquired in 2000. Patricia has a MBA from DePaul University and a BS from Southern Illinois University. Currently, she is on the Board of Directors of the Illinois Search and Staffing Association. Patricia’s experience includes working on the following Executive Boards: Northwest Human Resources Council, The Executive Women’s Committee for the IL CPA Society and The Institute of Management Accountants.


Rosemarie Christopher, President & CEO
Med Exec International and Rx Research Staffing

Executive Placement and Contract Staffing have been Rosemarie Christopher’s focus since 1987 when she first entered the recruitment industry. In 1992 she founded Med Exec International, LLC, a full time employee placement firm, and in 1995 incorporated Rx Research Staffing, for the placement contractors and consultants. Both companies specialize in the placement of mid/senior level clinical research, medical affairs, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, managed care and health economics and outcomes professionals in medical device firms, pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology start ups, and other healthcare entities nationwide.

Ms. Christopher is an active member of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT): Quality Assurance Division and Southern California Section, Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (RAPS), Orange County Regulatory Affairs (OCRA), Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP), Drug Information Association (DIA), and the American Society for Quality (ASQ): Food Drug & Cosmetics Division Vice- Chair and Region 7 Deputy Regional Director.

Named to the Board of Councilors of the USC School of Pharmacy, Ms Christopher is in large part responsible for the creation, development and implementation of the LINC Advisors, a group of almost 100 USC School of Pharmacy Alumni/Friends, Bioscience Industry professionals, all, who support the career development of USC School of Pharmacy Students, through career workshops, internships, fellowships , career fairs and through contributions to the maintenance of two drug development courses for Pharm.D and Ph.D. students.

Ms. Christopher holds a Master’s degree from the USC Annenberg School for Communications with an emphasis in corporate communications. She is a member of the USC Chapter of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Her BA is in Anthropology from UCLA. Husband, Dr. Thom Mason, DMA, is the Founding Chair of the Jazz department, tenured Professor in the USC Thornton School of Music.

Paul A. Austin, CPC

Mr. Austin has been in the search industry for 35 years. He began his career with M. David Lowe Personnel in 1975, running a desk for financial professionals. Subsequently, he co-founded The Austin Group, L.P. in 1977 and the Qualitec® Family of Independently Owned Companies in 1992, providing equity opportunities for partnerships to exceptional managers. This unique method of ownership has resulted in giving entrepreneurial recruiters the ability to advance their earning power far beyond managers in other firms. It has also kept Austin Group/Qualitec in the top 5 recruiting firms in the city as designated by the Houston Business Journal in number of permanent placements, for many years.

Paul has trained hundreds of recruiters in the art of executive search and currently serves as Chairman of the Board and President of the Qualitec® Family of Independently Owned Companies, comprised of 16 different search firms. In this position, he supervises more than 50 recruiters and is responsible for all training activities. Paul has also insured that his employees are motivated by the most exceptional experts in training for this industry, bringing them in house and sending countless consultants to industry conferences all over the country. 

Paul remains a student of the industry and conducts local and national training for various organizations and firms. Additionally, Paul has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Houston Area Association of Personnel Consultants, the Texas Association of Personal Consultants, and the National Association of Personal Consultants. He received the Award of Merit for Commitment to Employees from the National Association of Personnel Consultants in 2000 and in 2010 Paul received the Locke-Matthiessen Award, the highest award given by the Texas Association of Personnel Consultants for his lifetime of dedication and contribution to the industry.

Paul’s prior experience includes sales in a number of industries. He received a B.S. in Management from the University of Texas Pan American and served in the U. S. Army. He is a father, grandfather, world traveler and avid golfer.

Cynthia Fassler - CAC, CSP

Cindy Fassler is the soul of TSS. Cindy founded TSS as a temporary staffing agency in 1982 and quickly expanded to offer fulltime placement and executive search services.

Known for her energetic style and commitment to customer satisfaction, she is a career recruiter who listens to her clients and finds top talent to meet their needs. She has a knack for assessing individual skills, bringing out the best in candidates. Because she personally visits her clients’ office’s, she has a clear sense of their needs, the skill requirements and company culture, and expertly makes the right match. With her expertise and personal determination in recruitment, she has successfully grown the agency to have a niche in the Executive Search market, focusing on Banking and Brokerage Placement.

A strong believer in giving back to the community, Cindy has found numerous ways to impart her expertise to benefit other organizations. She is especially proud of her tenure on the board of Jobs’ Consortium (1999-2001) where she used her agency knowledge to make it possible for the organization to open up an internal staffing service that helped place Consortium graduates. She also taught resume writing and job trends at City College of San Francisco, and worked for the San Francisco Welfare to Work Program, coaching re-entry workers in how to get a job.

Cindy was elected statewide VP of California Staffing Professionals (CSP) and served as President of the CSP Golden Gate chapter. She is currently on the Board of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO)-San Francisco Chapter. She served as chair for NAWBO’s flagship event, the “Leaders and Legends Luncheon” in 2006 - 2008.

In 2006 Cindy was named Small Business Owner of the Year by the Small Business Network (SBN). SBN represents more than 19,000 small businesses through 22 member organizations; Small Business Owner of the Year is their highest award.

When asked what differentiates TSS from its competition, Cindy replied, “Integrity. Personality opens the door, character keeps it open.”

The company celebrated its 28th anniversary in 2010, a testimony to Cindy’s integrity, character and commitment to customer service.

Jim Zasowski

Jim Zasowski is the Founder and President of Z1 Solutions. Jim's career has given him extensive experience in marketing and sales management. Jim has over 25 years of experience in the diagnostics field. He has an outstanding record of recruiting and promoting sales personnel as well as management experience with marketing personnel. Jim has created and executed sales & sales manager training programs and he is a recognized for his leadership and motivational skills. Jim's industry background consists of over 10 years experience in the diagnostics market with Abbott Labs inclusive of executive level responsibilities in management and marketing. Jim also held the position of Regional Sales Manager and the Director of Sales for 8 years at Biosite Inc., and was key in leading the company's sales to exponential growth during his tenure. Jim started Z1 Solutions, Inc. in 2000, leading the company to become one of the top executive search organizations in the country. Jim has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee. He has been married for 25 years and has 3 children; Jimmy is the oldest and is pursuing his MBA at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA, Nicholas is a junior at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and Elizabeth is a sophomore at Regis Jesuit High School in Denver. Jim's family has resided in Centennial, Colorado for the past 20 years.
