HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (MAR 4, 2014) – Mez Media Films, the HD Video arm of Mez Media, Inc. presents "Real World Staffing" the first documentary film about the staffing profession.  In 2009, Jim wrote the original screenplay for a passion play project entitled "Top Recruiter" where he featured a Mez Media Client and fellow NCASP Board Member, Tiffany Crenshaw, CPC, CEO of Intellect Resources.  I was brought on as a consultant and casting director based on my decade of experience in high level executive search as well as being the President of the North Carolina Association of Staffing Professionals at that time.  I referred Jim to Brett Mullen, a local Greensboro Cinematographer, with a background from Film School to shoot this project.  I had hired Brett a couple of times before for NCASP and was always pleased with his work.  Since that time, he's partnered with us on various Mez Media Film projects and his talent is truly remarkable.

So fast forward to 2013.  After Jim and I had successfully built Mez Media into the premier digital marketing firm that industry leaders, staffing/recruiting associations, Fortune 500 Firms and many more have hired to build websites, email marketing strategies and of course produce corporate commercial video work, we decided to return to a passion project.  While on a plane to the 2012 NAPS Conference, I suggested to him we film, produce and showcase a true documentary film about this profession that has both served us so well financially as well as the rewarding relationships we've nurtured based on integrity, creative work and most important of all, real, factual, documented results.

In May of 2013, we flew to Seattle, WA and in various locations; we filmed Jenifer Lambert and the Terra Staffing Group, a real successful staffing company.  As VP of Sales/Marketing, Jenifer has been a driving force behind Terra Staffing Group's success as they have experienced phenomenal double digit growth as well as receiving the illustrious 'Best of Staffing' Award by Inavero and CareerBuilder for three years running.  Jenifer was also inducted into the Pinnacle Society for exceptionally high direct-hire billings.  Her best year exceeded $750,000 in Cash-In Billings.  For the past five years, she's been a notable keynoter and trainer inside our space having spoken at virtually every conference there's been.  She also consults and speaks at various in-house sessions and HR Conferences.

When you finish watching our film (running time, 29 minutes) we hope you will get an inside glimpse of what a true staffing/recruiting professional does on a daily basis.  We took the liberty of trying not to fool you with fancy camera work, over the top stock footage, and made-up drama, however we felt the content and story is what you deserve to experience.  So please enjoy our passion project film.
