How to Predict Your Sales Candidate’s Success Before You Hire Them by Brisa Renteria

In this crazy economy it is essential to predict whether or not the salesperson you've been considering will actually succeed. The good thing about the current talent market is that you'll have great candidates to consider who are looking for better opportunities. Bad thing: Sucky salespeople (who interview well) will be in that funnel too which will keep you in the hiring wheel of death.

Hiring, firing, hiring, firi..you get the gist.

...but don't freak out. I have a way that will get you out of the endless cycle, and I'm teaching it here!

Takeaways:

  • A five-step hiring process that helps you predict your sales candidate's success before they make it to your payroll.
  • A tool that helps you weed out the salespeople who suck from the ones who don't.
  • The criteria your sales candidate should meet before you hire them.
  • What to look for during the job interview that will determine if they can and will sell.
  • How to shorten the ramp-up time and set them up for success.
  • ...and wait, there's more! (*in my infomercial voice*)
